Transition in Recollections After a Ramble

This piece of work starts off with some beautiful imagery and rhyme schemes, which makes it seem like an easy poem to follow. Clare, however, begins to transition in the subjects of each stanza which makes the poem rather difficult to follow. At first it is the scenery and animals in the surrounding nature, then the subject turns into other humans and human interactions, then the subject briefly turns into "I" for Clare's reflection period... and at first I thought there would be some sort of trend or pattern or reasoning behind this specific type of transition but as I continued to read I found it to be completely random, and literally it just mimicked the transitions of a "ramble" as the work it so appropriately titled. I would like to know what other people consider to be the point or message behind this random collection of musing, reminiscing, and describing.
